A. JOB DESCRIPTION AND ELIGIBILITY (PROFILE SOUGHT)

1. General remarks

The European Parliament has decided to open, on the basis of Article 29(2) of the Staff Regulations of officials of the European Union, the procedure for filling six officials’ posts (AD 7) in the Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences and the Directorate-General for Communication. The profiles being sought are those of audiovisual engineer specialising in the integration of broadcast systems and multimedia.

These posts call for specific qualifications, as set out in section A.3.(b) of this notice.

Recruitment will be at grade AD 7, first step, the basic salary for which is EUR 6 294.84 per month. This salary is subject to Community tax and to the other deductions provided for by the conditions of employment of officials of the European Union. It is exempt from national tax. The step at which the successful candidates are recruited may be adjusted in accordance with their professional experience. Moreover, in certain circumstances allowances will be paid in addition to the basic salary.
